tahini granola

Looking for a new spin on granola? Then this recipe is for you. I love the combination of tahini and cardamom - it reminds me of sweet delicacies from Turkey or India. You could also add ginger and cinnamon if you want to add a little more spice and flavor.

Serves 2

Ingredients

1/4 cup Tahini

2 tbsps Maple Syrup

1 1/2 tsps Cardamom

1 cup Oats (rolled)

1/3 cup Walnuts (chopped)

1 1/2 tbsps Sesame Seeds

1/4 tsp Sea Salt (flaky)

Creating the Magic!

  1. Preheat the oven to 325oF (160oC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the tahini, maple syrup, and cardamom. Add the oats, walnuts, and sesame seeds. Stir to combine.

  3. Spread granola evenly onto the baking sheet and sprinkle with flaky salt. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until light golden brown, stirring once halfway through.

  4. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into chunks. Enjoy!
