ginger orange immunity shot

Feel like you might be getting sick? Then I have just the drink for you. Give your immune system a boost with this anti-inflammatory and vitamin C drink. The turmeric and ginger give it some heat so feel free to reduce these ingredients or add more hot water to soften the flavors. I juiced my ginger in a juicer. If you don’t have a juicer, then you could put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the ginger has been pulverized. You may want to strain the liquid so that you don’t have to eat large chunks of ginger. This makes enough for four people.

Serves 4

Ingredient

Orange juice – 200ml

Ginger juice – 25ml

Turmeric powder or infused with honey – 2tbsp

Pinch of Black pepper

Honey as needed if no infused honey

Warm Water – 200ml

Stir all the ingredients together. Serve warm or chilled.
